The NZ eTA Validity determines how long an approved NZeTA can be used for travel to New Zealand. The authorisation is generally linked electronically to the passport used during the application. Travellers should therefore check that their passport remains valid and that they are travelling with the same document associated with the NZeTA. Having a valid NZeTA does not mean you can remain in New Zealand indefinitely. The length of each permitted stay depends on your circumstances and immigration conditions. Before travelling, check your authorisation and make sure your planned visit fits within the permitted period. If your passport expires, is lost or replaced, check whether you need to apply for a new NZeTA before your journey.
